Dr. Lisa L. Burroughs, Founder & CEO

Dr. Lisa L. Burroughs is a seasoned human capital executive with over three decades of leadership experience across local government, higher education, and global organizations. She holds a doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Human Resource Development and is known for designing and leading strategic HR initiatives that strengthen workforce performance, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

Her expertise spans workforce planning, policy and compliance development, talent acquisition, executive coaching, and organizational transformation. As a federally registered government contractor (SAM & CAGE Code), Dr. Burroughs partners with public sector agencies and mission-driven organizations to deliver scalable, results-oriented HR and workforce solutions grounded in best practices and real-world execution.

Dr. Burroughs has multiple certifications in HR, mediation, and compliance. A member of the national Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) in the U.S. and a member of Institute of Human Resource Management in Kenya.

Angela Hinson, Strategic Advisor & Senior HR / Operations Consultant

Angela Hinson brings more than 20 years of experience across federal government and private-sector operations, with a strong background in organizational infrastructure, compliance, and operational execution. As Strategic Advisor to Burroughs Business Solutions, she supports enterprise-level initiatives that strengthen internal systems, operational readiness, and sustainable growth.

Her career highlights include:

  • Senior Workers Compensation Claims Examiner at the U.S. Department of Labor, where she managed over 2,000 cases annually, applying advanced analytical techniques and resolving complex claims issues.

  • Human Resources Specialist providing strategic advice on staffing, recruitment, and compliance with human capital laws.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Fayetteville State University. She is known for her excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
